A Double iPad Case for Double the iPad Protection

I understand the use of two screens in a single computer, but working with two iPads? Oh well, whatever floats your boat.

But playing Angry Birds with two iPads would be much boring without an appropritate “dual iPad case” from ZooGue. Although the case is launched today, October 28, nothing much is revealed about it except for the obvious feature that it can protect your two precious iPads. At least you have something to brag about to your friends and co-workers apart from the fact that you proudly own two iPads and prefer to carry them around at the same time.

Oh, and you better be quick in swiping your credit card details because this double iPad case will come in limited units. I guess there are not that many Apple fans who are… well, passionate enough to own two iPads.

Shogun Bros. Updates Chameleon X-1 Gaming Mouse

Shogun Bros. unveils an updated version of its Chameleon X-1 gaming mouse. This gamepad-mouse hybrid now comes with an enhanced rubberized coating for better grip, a new layout for remote control operation, and an extended battery life.

Other than that, the new Chameleon X-1 comes with what it had when the gadget was launched last year: A five-stage adjustable 1,600dpi optical sensor, 16 buttons, and force feedback support. This device can switch into three different modes–wireless gaming mouse, wireless game pad, and wireless remote control–with a single press of a button. What is even more impressive that it only needs a single AA battery to operate.

Shogun Bros. will be releasing this gaming mouse on October 1, but pre-orders are now accepted on Amazon for $60. It comes in three colors (Essential Purple, Graphite Grey, and Passion Red) and works with a variety of OS that dates as far back as Windows 95.

HP TopShot Scanner Lets You Scan 3D Objects, But

HP wants ordinary consumers like you to be able to scan 3D objects, which is why they just introduced this HP TopShot LaserJet Pro. This all-in-one scanner features an overhanging arm equipped with a high-resolution camera, enabling the device to capture 3D objects in six different ways (three with flashes from different angles, three in different ambient light conditions).

Although this scanner cannot yield a 3D replica of the product being scanned, it can produce 2D shots in studio-like quality. The TopShot, through its Biz Card app, can also scan and import multiple business cards simultaneously. The device also includes Google Documents integration, cloud apps, ePrint, and AirPrint, thus enabling you to run it even without a connected computer.

No word yet on the availability, but HP puts TopShot LaserJet Pro with a $399 suggested price tag.
